Pure, impressive and far from touristic.
From April 4th til April 12th (2014) we stayed in Sri Lanka. Only 8 days…but such a great and interesting country to explore.
I am a Person, who wants it all! My attitute: Spending so much money on a flight to the other side of the world, I want to see as much as possible. Now I really had a challenge to build a tour which makes it possible to explore culture, nature and relax somewhat at the beach, too.
First I checked out what parts of Sri Lanka are affected by the rain season during April. After doing research and taxing my brain I came to the result, that it´s the best option to do the following route:
Since the western parts are from April til June hit by monsun rain, the east-southern part of Sri Lanka is dry and hot. That´s what we were looking for!
